Eco Garden was created out of a love for sustainability and healthy food

Lexi Sabjan, an avid sustainability enthusiast, started to think about how she could help future generations establish the company in June 2022. She read about vertical farming online and suddenly felt a ‘Calling’. Her dream was to create nutrition-dense, locally grown, and organic produce for the local communities. She has a love for clean, pesticide-free, herbicide-free, quality products. Hydroponic agriculture is one that lowers the environmental impact of food growing. She decided to have hydroponics for the reason that this technique uses 90% less water – which is crucial in water-stricken California. Her choice was to have a sustainable farm where she can grow all the healthy, delicious produce and sell them to individuals and businesses alike. 

Another advantage of choosing to be sustainably sourced was that our products have a longer shelf life of over 10-12 days depending on the variety.

Our products are also very clean so no soil or particles are in the boxes.
Our main products are microgreens of all kinds, however, we love experimenting with new and rare plants.

What do we do?

What are microgreens?

Microgreens are tiny seedlings full of nutrients. When you plant a seed you have a mini plant after 7-12 days and that is called microgreen.
Did you know that these tiny greens can carry 40X more nutrients than their mature part? For example, broccoli microgreens contain 10x more sulforaphane, the anti-cancer compound, than in the adult florets. Broccoli microgreens
also, have vitamin C and vitamin E more than in mature broccoli.

Microgreens are used for different reasons but mostly they are delicious, nutrient-dense raw food you should eat daily. Microgreens can also be used for decorations by the catering industry. They not only add sensory pleasure to the food but they can enhance the flavor of any dish if paired correctly. Microgreens have a very intense flavor and can be used to balance out your ‘cheat days’ so you still consume nutritious food while treating yourself.

Clean production

We grow Non-GMO, organic microgreens and micro herbs that are available farm-to-table straight from the farm or with normal delivery. We only use water to grow our microgreens and organic fertilizer for our herbs. Our organic products are made with a natural and organic OMRI-listed mix to sustain the highest quality.
